Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping at Costume Cove! We want you to love your order. If something isn’t right, we’re here to help.

⏳ Return Window

  • You can request a return within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging (tags attached).

🔄 Exchanges

  • We don’t offer direct exchanges.
  • Please return the item for a refund and place a new order for the size/style you want.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene/safety and seasonal reasons, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Worn or used costumes, underlayers, or opened accessories (e.g., wigs, masks, tiaras).
  • Final-sale/clearance items.
  • Items returned without original packaging or with odors/damage.

💰 Refunds

  • After your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you about approval.
  • Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (processing times may vary by bank).

🚚 Return Shipping

  • Unless the item is defective or we sent the wrong item, the customer is responsible for return shipping.
  • We recommend a trackable shipping service; we’re not responsible for returns lost in transit.

⚡ Pre-Order Policy

Many items are sold on a pre-order basis to reduce waste and keep prices lower:

  • Cancellations are accepted within 24 hours of purchase.
  • After 24 hours, orders are final because inventory is reserved with our suppliers.

📦 Incorrect/Damaged Items

If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos, and we’ll make it right.
